AGM 2009 – As the meeting will be held this year in Shelton, we are actively seeking involvement from WDFW Olympia office.  Efforts should be made to try and get them to attend the November 6 meeting at the Little Creek Casino.

Parent Society AGM 2011 – The parent society is establishing committee definitions.  Keith Wolf conveyed that Al Gore may be plenary speaker.

Little Creek Luncheon – The EXCOM meeting will be held during the first hour, followed by training on the website by Brian, then the 2009 AGM planning session which will be concurrent with lunch.  Non-EXCOM members are welcome to attend the web training if they will be substantially participating in the AGM planning.  The luncheon and 2009 AGM planning session is open to all interested parties.

EXCOM should make phone calls to personally invite key people to the Little Creek Casino luncheon.  Several rooms will be reserved for EXCOM members needing to stay overnight.

Larry will check with Eric Knudsen as to whether the By-Laws specify a dollar amount above which a motion is required.

Larry gave Julie authorization to send a check for insurance, which will cover meetings etc.

It was discussed whether the Fish Habitat Bill being considered in Washington should be brought to the attention of the Washington WA-BC chapter members, via a listserve encouraging them to express their opinions regarding the bill to their legislators.   It was decided to wait on this decision until guidance is received from the Parent Society who has a template to follow.

Next Meeting – Little Creek Casino, Shelton, WA 10am – 2pm.
