Officer Reports
President: Larry was not able to attend the Salmon Enhancement Group meeting at LCC this week. The videographer who helped Larry with the AGM video posted on the chapter website will record video and take photos at the AGM next week.  A meeting has been scheduled on Monday for 2011 planning.  Chapter will cover van costs to transport University of Washington students to the AGM.  Texas hold-em party was dropped as a social event.

Past President: Not in attendance.  Larry reported Eric has been doing a great job getting sponsorship for our AGM.

President Elect: The AGM program has gone to print, and it looks great.  Jim is working with Ricki at LCC to get everything set up.  Lisa will contact Ricki and work on layout for the Event Center.  Geraldine will be getting signage finalized.

One last listserve will go out announcing the 2011 meeting, reminder to vote, and last chance to register.  Larry will purchase wine, and soda from Costco for the Socials and just pay the $120 corkage fee.  Suggested order for Wednesday social is: dinner starts at 6pm, raffle could start at 6:30, awards at 7pm, Mitch Factor at 8pm.

Vice President: Mark has been Corresponding with the Pink and Chum Group regarding possibly co-convening for the 2010 AGM in BC.  There is a brand new conference center in Nanaimo, similar in size to LCC with hotels next door.  Mark has been contacted by a conference center in Victoria, and Larry has been contacted by the Yakama conference center, both soliciting our business for next year’s AGM.

Awards have been determined and recipients have been notified.   All will be able to attend.  Symposia chairs have been reminded to contact all speakers and remind them to put their presentations on flashdrives.  This year we will try to have computers ready at registration for speakers to upload their presentations.  Chairs should bring laser pointers.

Secretary/Treasurer: Registration for AGM is currently at 215.

Newsletter Editor: Student awards were given out after the conference last year due to student presentations happening on the last day.  Tad will have a student presentation judging sheet which can be handed to judges.

Topics

09AGM: See above.

South Puget Sound Salmon Enhancement Group Proposal – EXCOM moved and seconded a motion to support this group’s calendar effort at the amended amount of $750.  This motion passed.  (Not sure if this motion included the amendment to have content approval as stipulation of money donation – can someone clarify?)  It was discussed that efforts should be made by the chapter to reach out to similar organizations in BC and provide support there as well.

WA-BC Resolution for Victoria Sewage –EXCOM moves and seconded motion to present resolution to the chapter membership.  Motion was unanimously supported.
