Pacific Marine Expo sponsorship update – Nov 17 – 19 at the Exhibit hall between the two sports centers in Seattle. Mark P will be out of town, but the cost is minimal – electricity only, which will be around $90. Orlay will be able to pick up the booth and help assemble it, but we will need people to staff it. A motion was passed to be a sponsor for the cost of the electrical.
Time/Day of Excom meetings – Ok except for Jessica who has classes on Tues and Thurs.
Discussion of social media improvement – Postponed.
Habitat enhancement support grant: Mark P will work with Jim Shannon to get this started. We would like to require the grant be used for post construction monitoring of a fish habitat project. We are looking at $5,000 for the grant amount. Jim will write up a paragraph outlining the goals of the award.
New award for Chapter: Habitat Restoration Project of the Year: Mark P will work with Jim to get this started. To be submitted to ExCom for review with other annual awards. Jim will write up a paragraph outlining the goals of the award.

State of the Salmon Conference sponsorship – November 15 – 17 in Portland, OR. We sponsored this conference last year and Mark C attended. The motion was passed to sponsor this year for $1000.

Lowest sponsorship level is $1500, which includes exhibit space, and one complementary registration. There will be a UW Student Subunit Excom member attending who could probably help out. Lisa might be available to go up as well.
